Stuffed French Toast - With breaded crumbs
Triple Cheese Mac!
I was looking at the minute-hand of my watch while it ticked every second towards the end of my last paper, with my heart pounding. I didn't know how I felt, the elation couldn't sink in, not yet until much later. The 5 weeks worth of meticulous readings, projects and revision since I last wrote in that entry, is finally over. Now I look forward to planning for my summer.
I woke up this morning with the sight of my tangled sheets. No alarm, but I got up at 9.30am - tired, lost and stared into space. This is what it feels like when the weights on my shoulders have finally lifted. My body and mood adjusted to the morning rain and fell back into slumber. The extended sleep was yet again amazing. My 2 gym friends and I left for Au Chocolat after our last paper (It was Fiona's recommendation) because they had bad cravings for truffle fries weeks ago. I've never tasted too many versions of truffle fries; but it does taste delish. Fiona and Rachel thought it was good and loved it nonetheless. Justin sent me a text that read "You've not gym-ed and you're eating fries?" Legit cheat food and that's okay, I thought.
The mains were really filling and we had no space for desserts after. But I'd definitely go back and try their Meringue since a few on Foursquare recommended it! I'm bad with food-applications (Even after our project on Foodspotting) so I'm pretty much dependent on Foursquare. The days will only get better. So this time in enforced healthfulness, my exercise routine is all I have and am happy about. It is not the best but I will always try. Practice makes perfect! I managed to return my over-due library book and borrowed 2 new ones; And I'm currently on it! It seems like I have a long list planned out for summer I don't actually know where to start.
They definitely come after my trip to Bali next week!
