Sundays aren't meant to do work; though sometimes when the cards on the trello board becomes too in-your-face and the mind subconsciously tries to clear it -- I try not to. I took a little nap in the noon when the sun was pretty nice. My curtains were drawn and I had the night light on. I switched off the fans and slept like a baby.
I woke up to pack some of the clothes in the wardrobe, only decided to throw 2 out of the many (As you can tell I'm a hoarder), not very space-efficient. And I picked out a bubble clay mask which I've bought last year on Qoo10 when it went on sale, that I can barely remember its price.
Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask
I remembered clicking on the purchase link after someone posted some video on it, first a clay-like texture, and then it bubbles, and you could press your fingers against your face to massage the mask in again. In scientific reasoning, it just went into a 3 state mix. Pretty cool!
A Korean brand and the entire packaging was filled with Korean words - I didn't know how long I should have it on, when I should remove and how I should remove it. Thank goodness for youtube and some review sites. This bubbly clay mask is definitely a pore cleanser. The charcoal powder ingredient helps to get rid of deep-seated dirt while providing nutrients to keep the skin healthy. We all know how charcoal is good for the skin, as with other charcoal masks out there. It also doesn't strip you off the nutrients and oil while doing so!
I could definitely see bubbly action after what seemed like 3-minutes after application, and then the next 5 - 10 minutes were just bubbles in action. The mask started foaming on its own, and the application on my face grew, and then a few instastory came after that. After 15 minutes when the foaming has lessened, I placed my fingers onto the area and started to deeply massage around it.
The bubbles would first crack a little (You could literally hear it) and then you massage it deeply into your skin and it's back to a mask-like texture again. Super cool! Right after that, I rinsed it off with warm water on a sponge, definitely helped in getting it off! And dabbed it off with facial towels after that. Ta-dah. Loved it!
Still unsure of what to do after, I put on the Cosrx Blackhead Power Liquid and Advanced Snail 96 Power Essence. Treated my skin to a 30 minute deep-cleansing facial! Here I am now, typing this away sharing it with you :)
A plus point when the packaging is so sleek and muni-like. Black-white, definitely YES!
I really enjoyed the entire product and how it bubbled. And I'm bringing this along to Justin's place so that I can do it for him, that tingly sensation? Can't wait to see his reaction! Till next time.
